The house was solidly built according to the "3 hard" criteria, with a total cost of 150 million VND, of which the State Bank of Vietnam Trade Union supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
Ms. Quach Cam Tu, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of U Minh commune, presented the Decision on handing over the house to Mr. Thai Van Dung's family.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Quach Cam Tu, Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee U Minh commune congratulated Mr. Dung's family on receiving a new, spacious house. She hopes that the family will use and preserve the house well and continue to make efforts to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.
Mr. Thai Van Dung represented the family to speak at the house handover ceremony.
Moved by the new house, Mr. Thai Van Dung expressed his gratitude to the Party, the State, the Fatherland Front at all levels and especially the Trade Union of the State Bank of Vietnam for supporting his family to have a solid home. He affirmed that he will promote the spirit of self-reliance and take care of business to rise up.
Commune leaders and the People's Committee of the hamlet took souvenir photos with the family.
This is the third Great Solidarity House that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of U Minh commune mobilized to build and hand over to disadvantaged households in 2025, continuing to affirm the role of the Front in social security work and caring for people's lives.
