At the meeting, the Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts of Bac Lieu ward in carrying out local political tasks; at the same time, he requested the ward leaders to continue to closely follow the people's lives and promptly resolve issues of concern to the people.
Regarding the issue of socio-economic development, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai suggested that Bac Lieu ward clearly define the priorities and tasks to turn the ward into a center of culture - art, education - training, scientific research, innovation, digital transformation of the province. This is a process that requires not only the efforts and endeavors of Bac Lieu ward but also the cooperation and support of provincial agencies, departments, branches and localities in the region.
Regarding the field of education - training and scientific research, Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai suggested that Bac Lieu ward prioritize improving the quality of teaching and learning, focusing on investment in education; investing in modern teaching equipment, applying information technology in teaching, piloting digital schools and smart classrooms; building a healthy and friendly learning environment, organizing extracurricular activities, experiences, historical study abroad, cultural and educational exchange programs with localities in and outside the province so that students have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and vision, and maximize their potential.

Mr. Le Viet Xo, Chairman of Bac Lieu Ward People's Committee informed that the ward has a natural area of nearly 30 km², with a population of over 93,000 people. The ward Party Committee has 72 affiliated party organizations, with 3,226 party members. Regarding the organizational structure, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee have reviewed and evaluated the capacity of cadres and civil servants according to each job position and field of responsibility, arranged, organized, and adjusted accordingly to professional qualifications, capacity and work experience.
The leaders of Bac Lieu ward proposed that Ca Mau province consider adding educational staff to schools in the area to ensure enough teachers according to regulations in Circular No. 19/2023/TT-BGDDT and Circular No. 20/2023/TT-BGDDT.
In order for Bac Lieu ward, together with Vinh Trach and Hiep Thanh wards, to become a center of culture - art, education - training, scientific research, innovation and services - tourism of the province, Bac Lieu ward proposed that the province consider placing the headquarters of the province's educational and training institutions in the ward such as: Bac Lieu University, colleges (after the merger). The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed Cao Van Lau Theater to organize performances on weekend evenings to attract tourists...
Leaders of departments and branches of Ca Mau province also clarified the current situation of economic and social development, and at the same time suggested a number of issues for Bac Lieu ward to effectively implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, building Bac Lieu ward into a center of culture - art, education - training, scientific research and trade - tourism of the province.
