Owner of Nhu Lan facility donated a total value of 860 million VND to people in flood-affected areas.

On the afternoon of November 23, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau (owner of Nhu Lan establishment) donated 300 million VND and 3,500 boxes of pork floss (worth 560 million VND) through Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper (SGGP) to promptly support people affected by storms and floods. Representative of SGGP Newspaper, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Ngoc Anh received this support.

“A piece of food when hungry is worth a whole package when full. During this time, food will be very useful because shopping in many places is interrupted. I believe that SGGP Newspaper will transfer Nhu Lan's support to the right place, the right person. I hope our people will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau.

At the support reception, journalist Nguyen Ngoc Anh expressed his gratitude for the kindness of the owner of Nhu Lan facility. “We will try to deliver this support to our flood-affected compatriots as soon as possible, with all the spirit and responsibility of a journalist. This is a great encouragement and motivation for our compatriots at this time. We hope that we will continue to accompany and join hands to support our compatriots in times of trouble.”

Also at the gift-giving ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dau said that she will continue to work with relevant units to support funding for house construction for people in flood-affected areas, helping them stabilize their lives soon.
