Actively responding to the campaign to build a family of "5 no, 3 clean", the Provincial Women's Union (VWU) has deployed to all levels of the union, members and women with many good models and creative ways, gradually improving the material and spiritual life of women.

Standing Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union Nguyen Thi Quyen said: "The campaign to build a family of "5 no, 3 clean" with 8 criteria: No poverty, no violations of the law and social evils, no domestic violence, no third or more children, no malnourished children and children dropping out of school, clean house, clean kitchen, clean alley has been effectively implemented, bringing about clear changes in awareness and actions of cadres, members, women and the community".

The Associations at all levels actively and extensively carry out many communication activities, popularize the criteria for building a "5 no, 3 clean" family, especially promoting propaganda, providing legal knowledge and policies related to women and children; skills to prevent and combat abuse and domestic violence; building happy families; population policies; knowledge of starting a business, developing family economy , practicing savings... through many forms in the community. The Associations at all levels mobilize members and women to implement the new rural criteria; participate in environmental protection, form the habit of sorting garbage at home, create high consensus in the community, contribute to building a prosperous, happy, progressive, civilized family, build advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas.

Up to now, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has mobilized support for over 2,800 households to build hygienic latrines; over 2,800 households to implement clean water projects, contributing at least 10% to the results of implementing the national strategic goals on clean water and rural environmental sanitation; the national target program on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, successfully implementing the task of local socio-economic development.

Implementing the campaign to build a family of "5 no, 3 clean", the Women's Union of Vinh Hanh commune actively encourages members and women to participate in environmental protection, forming the habit of sorting garbage at home. Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hai, residing in Vinh Hoa 1 hamlet, Vinh Hanh commune shared: "I actively participate in the campaign to build a family of "5 no, 3 clean" and implement the flower road and beautiful neighborhood model launched by the union. My family and people in the hamlet raise awareness of environmental hygiene, take care of flowers in front of the house, and build increasingly green, clean and beautiful rural roads".

Supporting members and women in economic development is one of the key tasks. Women's Unions at all levels in the province actively exploit resources to support women in economic development, job creation and income increase. Many capital support models have been implemented, supporting 50,000 women to invest in livestock and crop farming, expand production and business. Unions at all levels coordinate with functional sectors to organize 34 training courses on transferring science , technology, knowledge of business start-up, entrepreneurship and vocational training, job creation, etc.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Vinh An Commune, Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet, said: "Every year, the Women's Union of the Commune proactively reviews the number of poor members and poor households headed by women to have a plan to help them according to their circumstances. At the same time, we encourage members and women to form cooperatives and consume products produced by women, helping to increase the income of members and women."

To deepen the movement to build a family of “5 no, 3 clean”, the Women’s Union at all levels in the province continues to diversify communication forms by applying information technology and social networks. The Unions at all levels research and build new models suitable to the characteristics and practical needs of each locality, increase activities to support women in preventing and combating domestic violence, improve the quality of the living environment, etc.
