Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, on the morning of November 24, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society launched a campaign for its staff, employees and workers to support people in the Central and Central Highlands regions to overcome the consequences of floods.
Each officer and employee of the City Red Cross Society voluntarily donated at least one day's salary. Through preliminary statistics, the officers, employees and workers of the City Red Cross Society donated more than 50 million VND.
The city's Red Cross also received 50 million VND to support the people of Dak Lak province from Gia Loc Production and Trading Company Limited.
Funds received from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists are publicly disclosed and promptly transferred to the people by the City Red Cross.

The City Red Cross Society mobilized Red Cross officers and members of communes, wards and special zones to deploy to villages and residential groups, continuing to call on agencies, units, schools, businesses and people to actively participate, accompany and support people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
