Da Nang Farmers' Association gives gifts to people affected by tornado

DNO - On November 24, Vice President of the City Farmers' Association Thai Thi Bich Phin visited and presented gifts to support households whose houses were damaged or injured by tornadoes in Chien Dan commune and Huong Tra ward.

The delegation visited households including: Trinh Cong Lanh, Nguyen Yen, Tran Dinh Thuan (Huong Tra ward); Khuu Minh Thuc, Ung Tan Nhon, Dang Thi Lanh (Chien Dan commune).

At the families, Vice President of the City Farmers' Association Thai Thi Bich Phin visited the people's health and lives and gave each household 2 million VND in support from the Fund for supporting difficulties and hardships contributed by officials and members.

Previously, immediately after the tornado occurred, the Farmers' Association of Chien Dan commune and Huong Tra ward quickly mobilized forces to help people clean up the scene, overcome initial damage; at the same time, visited and gave gifts to encourage people to soon stabilize their lives.
