Ho Chi Minh City police visit officers injured while on relief mission in Dak Lak

On the morning of November 27, Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the unit's leaders organized a delegation to visit and encourage Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Captain of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (CC and CNCH) of Region 19 - Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, who was injured while performing his duties in Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, on the evening of November 26, Major General Nguyen Thanh Huong, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police, and representatives of professional units went to Hospital 115 to visit and encourage comrade Nguyen Quang Minh who is being treated there.

Previously, at about 1:10 p.m. on November 25, while the working group stopped the fire truck on the side of National Highway 1A (section passing Doc Quyt, Xuan Lieu village, Xuan Tho commune, Dak Lak province) to support cleaning up people's houses and handing out relief gifts, suddenly a container truck lost control and drove onto the side of the road, hitting and knocking down a steel lamppost, causing the lamppost to fall on Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Minh, causing multiple injuries.

Another soldier in the working group promptly carried a little girl out of the danger zone, avoiding a collision with the container truck.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Minh was taken to the emergency room on November 25.

The case is currently being investigated and clarified by Dak Lak Provincial Police.
