SOS An Lao Club (Hai Phong) presented 300 gifts, including necessities, shopping bags... to poor households, near-poor households, and households in difficult circumstances in Tay Nha Trang ward.

On the evening of November 23, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross in coordination with the An Lao SOS Club (Hai Phong) organized a donation of necessities to support people affected by floods in Tay Nha Trang ward with a total value of 270 million VND.

The delegation presented 300 gifts including necessities (rice, cakes, milk), shopping bags, etc., focusing on supporting poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances; households that were deeply flooded and suffered heavy damage after the flood. Each gift was worth 900,000 VND, including 500,000 VND in cash.

Previously, the SOS An Lao Club (Hai Phong) launched a relief campaign, connecting philanthropists and volunteer organizations to join hands to support people in disaster-hit areas to overcome difficulties. In just a short time, Hai Phong city residents and many philanthropists across the country donated 15 tons of necessities and nearly 500 million VND in cash.

The first airlifts of relief supplies have reached flood-hit areas. Road deliveries are expected to be completed on November 24.
