Attending and speaking at the opening ceremony, Colonel Doan Dinh Tranh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, emphasized: “Organizing Khmer language training classes is a practical requirement, contributing to improving the qualifications, communication skills and mass mobilization capacity of the Border Guard staff. Thereby, strengthening the bond, understanding and consolidating the solidarity between the Border Guard and the Khmer ethnic people, as well as the Cambodian border protection force on the opposite side. This is an important basis for us to perform well the task of managing and protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation."
