Speaking at the opening of the congress, comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong said that with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the congress is an important milestone, demonstrating the will, aspiration and determination of the great national solidarity bloc of An Giang province in the new development period.

During the past term, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the timely guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has promoted its core role in building the great national unity bloc.
Major movements and campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Join hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"... have been widely deployed, bringing practical results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party and government building has been carried out effectively, clearly demonstrating the role of a bridge between the Party, the State and the People.
Many self-management models in residential areas have been replicated, the spirit of solidarity and mutual love is increasingly spreading. People's foreign affairs activities have been enhanced, contributing to building a peaceful , friendly, cooperative border for mutual development.
Along with that, the organization of the Fatherland Front at all levels continues to be improved, streamlined, and operates more effectively and efficiently; the application of information technology and digital transformation in management, propaganda, and people's mobilization work has achieved many positive results.
The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Giang province, term 2025 - 2030 is a political and social event of special importance. This is also an opportunity to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the results of the Front's work in the past term; point out limitations and lessons learned; and at the same time determine directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the term 2025 - 2030.
