Talking about the application of technology in film creation, he said: "Any technology can never replace human work. The most important thing is still the true emotions that a film or a story brings to the audience." The overseas Vietnamese director believes that technology is just a supporting tool, reducing labor and costs, while emotions are the core of each work. Victor Vu also shared his international vision. He wants Vietnamese films to not only conquer domestic audiences but also aim to reach international audiences. "What is "most Vietnamese" is what not only conquers Vietnamese people but also makes foreign audiences more interested. If you really want to go further, the film's content must be deep enough to share with the world and tell in the language of international cinema."

He is currently developing two major projects, including an upcoming epic film and the sequel to Detective Kien, set in the Nguyen Dynasty. He emphasized: “The further we want to go, the more we have to cling to our own identity, the roots of national culture. Besides purely Vietnamese stories, we must exploit themes of global value such as human destiny, maternal love, love...”.

For Victor Vu, creative artists are the pillars of the film industry. This requires artists to always learn, renew themselves, invest carefully and most importantly, maintain national identity. He believes that when films touch the emotions of the audience, the possibility of success will be higher, while contributing to the sustainable development and international integration of Vietnamese cinema. From the 24th Vietnam Film Festival forum in 2025, Victor Vu's message is: "Vietnamese will, creativity, identity" is the way for Vietnamese films to go far. He is a typical representative of a generation of artists who dare to think, dare to do, dare to be different, proving that national strength is the foundation for Vietnamese cinema to integrate deeply and sustainably...
