Opening of internal audit training course

On the morning of November 24, the Provincial Cooperative Union (CPU) held the opening ceremony of a training course on internal audit for managers, executives and professional staff of cooperatives and people's credit funds (PCFs) in the province in 2025.

More than 60 students attended the training course.

More than 60 trainees, who are key officials of cooperatives and people's armed forces in the province, participated in the training course.

During the 5 days, lecturers from the Southern Vocational College and Cooperative Cadre Training School under the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance will introduce the following topics: Overview of internal auditing in cooperatives; risk identification and management; auditing practice in cooperatives; improving inspection, supervision, finance and accounting capacity; enhancing transparency, responsibility and efficiency in cooperative management and operation.

In addition, students also have the opportunity to exchange and share practical experiences in management, operation, inspection and supervision.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union said: In recent years, the collective economic sector and cooperatives of the province have gradually innovated and developed in both quantity and quality, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the province. However, in order for cooperatives and people's credit organizations to operate sustainably and effectively in the new context, strengthening governance capacity, financial transparency, risk management and internal audit is an extremely necessary requirement.

This is also the orientation of the Party and the State in the period of 2021 - 2025 according to Decision No. 1804/QD-TTg dated November 13, 2020 of the Prime Minister on the Program to support the development of collective economy and cooperatives. "The training course provides very practical content, contributing to perfecting the management apparatus and improving the operational efficiency of cooperatives, especially in the context of increasing competition and integration requirements" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union - Le Hoang Thanh emphasized.
