
In Ho Tram commune, at Phuoc Thuan Border Guard Station, from early morning, people and Phuoc Thuan Border Guard Station coordinated to wrap cakes. Some prepared the ingredients, some wrapped the cakes, and some moved the cakes to the cooking area.

The work was steady and decisive, showing urgency in the face of heavy rains in the Central region. By the end of the morning, 400 cakes were completed, boiled, and carefully packaged to be immediately sent to the gathering point.

In Binh Chau commune, work started from early morning. The wood stove was constantly on fire, people were wrapping cakes, people were packing cakes, people were sorting necessities, working without any time to rest. Mr. Nguyen Do Hai Thuan, Chairman of Binh Chau Commune People's Committee, was also present early, joining the people in wrapping cakes.
By noon, 400 banh tet cakes and many portions of dried food were ready to go.

In Tam Long ward, the pace of preparing relief goods is no less urgent. 300 kg of pork floss is processed entirely by hand by a group of brothers and sisters in the local Real Estate Association, divided into small groups to ensure progress.





In Vung Tau ward, Ms. Thanh Thien’s charity kitchen said that it will maintain the oven for 12 days to support people in flooded areas, today is the first day. People bring flour and sugar, then knead the dough, shape and bake the cakes together.
Hot loaves of bread are continuously baked, packaged immediately for delivery on the same day. The activity takes place regularly, imbued with the spirit of sharing with the people of Central Vietnam. On the first day, thousands of loaves of bread were baked.

Despite their different approaches, the relief kitchens and collection points in Ho Chi Minh City all share the same spirit of initiative, promptness, and responsibility, with the desire to ensure each gift reaches the people of Central Vietnam when they need it most.
* On the afternoon of November 23, Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet (54 years old, from Dong Hoa commune, Dak Lak province), a worker at a company specializing in producing car tarpaulins in Tan Uyen ward (HCMC), rode her bicycle to the Kitchen of Love, a charity facility under the Red Cross of Tan Uyen ward, bringing with her a gift of instant noodles and... 10 brooms.

Ms. Tuyet said her house in Dong Hoa commune was also half flooded.
These days she is eager to go home but most of the buses are delayed so she stays behind to wait for news, waiting for a convenient opportunity to visit home.
Explaining the gift of 10 brooms, she said she was from the countryside and knew that when the flood receded, people needed essential items to clean their houses.
Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Ngoc Phuong (31 years old, worker of Hoa Phat Wood Company in Dong Nai) also rode a motorbike carrying 3 boxes of instant noodles and 1 box of fish sauce to the Loving Kitchen to support people affected by storms and floods.
Ms. Phuong's house in Hoa Son commune, Dak Lak province was also flooded, fortunately everyone was safe. Given the difficult situation, she wanted to help a little to support the people to overcome the current difficulties.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le, Head of the Loving Kitchen Club, said that as soon as there was information about receiving goods to support people affected by storms and floods, many workers came to support food, medicine, and household items.
On the afternoon of November 23, among those who came to support the Kitchen of Love with goods, there was Mr. M. Asif, a Pakistani national. He immediately carried each box of goods from the truck into the reception area.
According to Ms. Tao Thi Hong Tham, working at the Women's Union of Tan Hiep Ward (HCMC), when he learned about the campaign, through contact, Mr. M. Asif, an English teacher, volunteered to participate in these meaningful activities.
