Not only receiving attention and support from the Central Government and provinces, people and organizations and units in the province also join hands to contribute, unite and help each other overcome difficulties and hardships.

To help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficult times, ensure food supplies and have more resources to overcome consequences, stabilize their lives and rebuild production, agencies, units, businesses, volunteer organizations and all classes of people have been joining hands and contributing with the spirit of "whoever has something to help, that is all".

Accordingly, the headquarters of agencies, units, communes and wards, and even businesses and religious establishments... in areas that were not flooded or less affected have become gathering points, the starting point of charitable shipments to the people of communes and wards heavily affected by floods. At the headquarters of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1, the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and all communes and wards... motorbikes and cars carrying necessities, clothes, blankets, banh chung, rice balls... continuously come in and out.

Filling her motorbike with boxes of noodles and clothes, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao (Buon Ma Thuot ward) shared: "Seeing the images of flooding, the cries for help, the hunger and cold of people isolated by floodwaters, I could not hold back my tears. Therefore, when I saw organizations and groups calling for and mobilizing, I bought noodles, mineral water and rearranged some clothes to bring to support."

Not only collecting necessities, when hearing the local government and volunteer organizations calling for cooking sticky rice, making banh chung, banh tet... to promptly send to people in isolated flood areas, people from all villages and residential groups also put aside everything to participate. Ms. H Phin Nie (Ea Nao village, Tan An ward) shared: "Each banh chung, banh tet wrapped and delivered to people in flood areas is not only a meal to relieve hunger but also the heart and sharing of people in safe areas for people in distress".

As of the morning of November 23, the province has allocated 99.6 billion VND from the Prime Minister's support fund to localities and units to overcome the consequences; transferred 1,170 medical bags, activated mobile medical teams to fight the epidemic, distributed 160 tons of rice and thousands of boxes of noodles, water, milk, dry food... to a number of localities; at the same time, the reception and distribution activities are still continuing.

More than ever, after the calls, there was immediate response and cooperation from organizations, unions and people of communes and wards. All participated with the spirit of "whoever has something to help, whoever has merit helps merit, whoever has property helps property", not letting people in flooded areas be left behind.

It is difficult to count how many charity trips have carried necessities such as rice, instant noodles, bottled water, banh chung, banh tet, medicine and warm clothes... regardless of rain or wind, day or night. Not only that, many organizations and groups have overcome floods, using canoes and motorboats to reach and hand-deliver each gift package to households in isolated areas with no traffic.

The timely support and assistance not only has great material value but is also a priceless source of spiritual encouragement, giving strength to the people in the flood-affected areas to overcome the disaster. The spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance in natural disasters has once again affirmed the fine tradition of humanity of the people of Dak Lak .

In recent days, Mr. Le Van Dao and Ms. Pham Thi Nhung (Son Thanh commune) have organized many trips to transport relief goods to Hoa Thinh commune. While guiding people to line up and distributing necessities to them, Mr. Dao said: "We have a few trucks at home, so my husband and I discussed calling on more brothers and friends to donate necessities to bring to the flooded areas to distribute to the people. In the past few days, I rented a canoe to each flooded area, and everyone was happy to see the relief team arrive. Some people even rowed boats along with the canoes to receive relief goods to distribute to people around the neighborhood."

Holding in her hand the gift of necessities distributed by the relief team, Ms. Vo Thi Lan (Hoa Thinh commune) emotionally said: “The flood submerged all the furniture in the house, for the past few days my whole family has had nothing to eat or wear, so when I received the gift bag of noodles, water, milk and some cakes..., I was so happy that I cried. In times of danger like this, having everyone help and support, my family is very grateful.”

Faced with the serious flood situation in recent days, Dak Lak province has been mobilizing maximum forces, means and materials to ensure safety of life and timely support for people in affected areas. In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has received and urgently distributed 16,000 barrels of water, 6,000 barrels of milk, more than 14,000 fast food meals... The total relief fund received is over 23 billion VND. In addition, each commune and ward has 2-3 collective kitchens set up to ensure people have hot meals every day.

According to Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ta Anh Tuan, along with emergency relief of food, clean water, and medicine for people, to support the locality's quick recovery, the province is implementing the receipt and allocation of funding sources for emergency support to gradually rebuild infrastructure, stabilize the lives and production of people in disaster areas.
