According to the report of the People's Committee of Hoa Son commune, from the night of November 16, 2025 until now, there has been prolonged heavy rain in Hoa Son commune; some areas were flooded, and landslides occurred in some locations. The flood damaged 2 level 4 houses and 6 outbuildings. Many areas of crops were flooded.
Some roads in the commune were deeply flooded and had landslides, causing traffic disruption, making it impossible for vehicles to circulate. The internal traffic system in the commune was severely damaged. The floods flooded 11 villages; 3 villages had landslides; 151 households were completely isolated... The total damage was about 10.7 billion VND. The People's Committee of Hoa Son commune directed functional forces and villages to support people, overcome the consequences, and at the same time deploy measures to respond to the next heavy rain.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Buon Ma Thuot Ward Party Committee Tran Phu Hung highly appreciated the locality's proactiveness in minimizing the damage caused by floods. Comrade Tran Phu Hung emphasized that after the flood recedes, local authorities need to synchronously deploy measures to help people stabilize their lives soon. Local authorities need to review all households in the area, absolutely not allowing any household to lack necessities or go hungry. Medical forces need to disinfect, sterilize, and prevent disease outbreaks after the flood. Schools need to ensure hygiene and safety before students return to class.
Regarding transportation, comrade Tran Phu Hung suggested that the locality must review all routes, mobilize vehicles and machinery to temporarily repair them, ensuring convenient travel. The distribution of relief gifts also needs to be clear, avoiding uneven support. For houses severely damaged by floods, the locality needs to consider and prioritize repair support before Tet, ensuring that people have stable and safe accommodation.

On this occasion, comrade Tran Phu Hung and the working delegation of Buon Ma Thuot ward presented more than 200 gifts including rice, milk, drinking water, clothes, blankets, and instant noodles to the people of Hoa Son commune, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and encouraging people to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives after the flood.
