Support activities are focused on heavily affected areas, many of which are still deeply flooded or isolated, and where people lack basic medical services, such as Hoa Xuan, Hoa Thinh, Dong Xuan, Dong Hoa and Tuy An Dong communes.
Five working groups are assigned by area and assigned to the final level hospitals of Ho Chi Minh City as team leaders, including: Gia Dinh People's Hospital, 115 People's Hospital, An Binh Hospital, Thu Duc Regional General Hospital, Binh Duong General Hospital.

In addition, in each team, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health has increased human resources from the city's specialized hospitals, including Obstetrics (Tu Du Hospital, Hung Vuong Hospital), Pediatrics (Children's Hospital 1, Children's Hospital 2, City Children's Hospital), Dermatology (Dermatology Hospital) and Infectious Diseases (Tropical Diseases Hospital) along with a team of nurses and pharmacists. The multidisciplinary participation aims to ensure comprehensive care for people in flood-affected areas, especially children, the elderly and pregnant women, the most vulnerable groups after natural disasters.
The core tasks of the working groups are to directly examine and treat people, provide free medicine and advise on self-care and infectious disease prevention. At the same time, the groups will support local health stations to restore operations, classify cases and coordinate referrals when necessary.
Each team will carry 500 family medicine bags, including fever reducers, oral rehydration solution, diarrhea medicine, cold medicine, antiseptic solution and first aid supplies to hand out to people. A total of 2,500 medicine bags have been prepared from donations from hospitals.
All costs from transportation, medicine, medical supplies to family medicine bags are covered by the hospitals themselves, thereby demonstrating the sense of responsibility and noble gesture of the Ho Chi Minh City health sector towards people affected by storms and floods.
