Trai Le village (Xuan Loc commune) is a Catholic village, where people always show a spirit of consensus and high responsibility in the common movements of the locality. In particular, when implementing the land acquisition work for the national key project of the North - South high-speed railway, people unanimously handed over the site, making an important contribution to the project being implemented on schedule.

It is known that the North-South high-speed railway project passing through Xuan Loc commune has a length of about 2.7 km, with a total area of 22.8 hectares to be acquired. Of which, Trai Le village accounts for nearly half of the area with nearly 11.5 hectares and directly affects 7 households. Notably, 2 households have to relocate all their solidly built houses.

Relocating and dismantling housing projects is a great sacrifice both materially and spiritually for the people, because it is the assets that they have accumulated over their entire lives. However, realizing the stature and national benefits of this modern railway, the people are ready to join hands to soon implement the project.

Although 250 ^{square meters of} residential land were affected and the newly completed solid house had to be relocated, his family was still unanimous and ready to hand over the site so that the project could be implemented smoothly.

“This house is all the capital and effort my wife and I have saved for many years to build and have only been living here for a short time. When we heard that the railway project was passing through and would affect our house, we felt a bit regretful. However, thinking carefully, this is a key national project, bringing long-term benefits to the country and future generations, we cannot let our own interests affect the common good. After discussing and reaching an agreement, my family agreed and was ready to hand over the site,” Mr. Thuan shared.

Mr. Thuan also expressed that, as a Catholic, he was always educated in the spirit of patriotism, respect for God, and service to the Fatherland. He and his people have absolute faith in the Party and State's adjustment, adequate compensation, and reasonable arrangement of new housing.

And as village chief, I must be the leader, exemplary in persuading my family first, then the people. When the commune officials came to propagate, we were willing to hand over the land without much persuasion. The spirit of "respect for the law, solidarity for development" is always promoted by us."

The consensus of the people of Trai Le village stems from the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of "respecting God and loving the country" of the parishioners here.
