The 2025 Children's Initiative Competition was launched in June 2025 with the theme "Children with a safe and healthy living environment", aiming to promote participation and create conditions for children to propose initiatives that they themselves have built and are capable of implementing. Thereby, contributing to solving problems related to the living environment, learning and daily activities.
In Da Nang, the City's Association for Charity and Protection of Children's Rights deployed to implementing units. From a series of ideas, 2 typical initiatives were selected to represent the city to participate in the national competition.
Specifically, the initiative "Green planet in my hands" by Ngo Gia Bao and Ngo Thuc Nhi, students of Nguyen Hue Secondary School (Hai Chau ward) with the message of environmental protection through small but meaningful actions.
The “Sprout” initiative of the Dream Makers group, including students from Phan Chau Trinh High School (Hai Chau Ward) and Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (An Hai Ward). This is an initiative aimed at building green spaces and promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles in schools.
Among them, the "Mam" initiative was selected for implementation support, becoming one of the outstanding products of the 2025 Children's Initiative Competition organized by the Vietnam Association for Protection of Children's Rights.
