Cam Le Ward launched Action Month for Gender Equality

DNO - On the morning of November 23, the People's Committee of Cam Le ward coordinated with the Women's Union of the ward to launch the Action Month for gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence in 2025.

With the theme “Gender equality and safety for women and girls in the digital age”, Cam Le Ward People’s Committee called on agencies, organizations and people in the area to join hands in implementing solutions to ensure safety in the online environment; raising awareness of preventing and combating gender-based violence in the context of strong digital transformation.

Promote propaganda on the rights of women and girls, encourage people to report and denounce acts of violence and abuse; build a safe, respectful and equal living environment.

At the launching ceremony, female officials and members signed an electronic commitment to "Implement gender equality, safe and respectful behavior in cyberspace" via QR code.

At the same time, visit the media corner and parade bicycles through the streets in the area, to spread the message of preventing and combating gender violence to the community.

On this occasion, the Department of Home Affairs presented 5 gifts (VND 2,000,000/gift) to women in difficult circumstances in the area.
