Amidst the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) wave, many Vietnamese female teachers are writing inspirational stories. From university lecturers, high school teachers to female founders of independent centers, they share the same aspiration: to bring technological knowledge closer to learners, especially female students, the "green shoots" of the confident and courageous generation. They are the "steel roses" of the technology world , both gentle and strong; both patient and innovative.
Breaking gender stereotypes in the tech world
For many years, STEM was considered a "male domain". However, many female teachers in Vietnam have overcome this prejudice with their passion and ability. I also faced skepticism when choosing to enter this field. Although it is not easy, I believe that technological knowledge needs to be spread equally to all.
The moment I received the STEM Educator certificate from STEM.org (USA) in 2024, and then became the first person in Vietnam to receive the Master Trainer certificate in preschool STEM in February 2025 was a turning point for me to understand that the presence of women in STEM is a statement - women can lead in the field of technology.
From the lab to the kindergarten robotics classroom, more and more Vietnamese women are appearing and asserting their leadership roles. I often tell my students: "Robotics is not a boy's thing. When you program a robot to operate as you want, it is proof that you can do extraordinary things."
Never stop learning - be proactive and creative
In the 4.0 era, teachers must not only impart knowledge but also be "lifelong learners". I have spent many years studying international programs, from STEM Educator to Master Trainer of STEM.org, or courses of the International STEM Association (ISA). Each certificate is a step forward in modern pedagogical thinking, knowing how to inspire creativity and create a real learning ecosystem.
Today’s female STEM teachers are promoting digital transformation in education , laying the foundation for Vietnamese students to confidently master technology. They are “knowledge ambassadors”, connecting people and technology with the heart of a teacher.
Teaching robotics is not just about programming, but also about teaching how to think, solve problems and master the future. Together with my colleagues, I bring STEM into every lesson, turning the classroom into a "creative laboratory" with projects such as smart homes, self-driving cars, automatic irrigation systems, etc. Many other female teachers also start businesses in technology education, build STEM centers and organize international robotics summer camps for Vietnamese children, proving that women not only accompany the future but also lead the future.
Pioneers and Initiators
As the Director of Programs and Operations at KidsEdu STEM, I have the opportunity to work with students majoring in educational technology. I always hope to inspire confidence and pioneering spirit, especially for female students who are still hesitant about the world of technology. I often say: "Technology is not dry, it is the key to open the world of creativity. Take on challenges, because challenges help you grow."

More and more female lecturers and female students are participating in scientific research and robot competitions at home and abroad. As the "captain" of a team of STEM Robotics teachers stretching from North to South, more than 90% of whom are female, I always aim for the image of a new-age female STEM teacher: Enthusiastic, dynamic, creative, open-minded but still soft and delicate.
The image of teachers and students working on robots, programming sensors, and presenting technology projects has become familiar. Few people know that behind those nights of tireless lesson planning, model testing, and the hearts of women dedicated to their profession.

Women's Strengths in STEM Robotics
Although STEM Robotics requires logical thinking, women bring a different value: humanity and sophistication. Meticulous, patient and flexible, they create a creative and friendly learning environment. I always design international standard STEM preschool programs but close to Vietnamese children, where robotics becomes a companion, arousing curiosity and exploration.
Women have an advantage in communication, connecting the learning community and parents, and expanding the STEM experience space for students. Many of the projects they lead are related to social topics such as the environment, green energy, and gender equality. When women stand on the technology podium, they are living role models for female students to believe that women can create, lead, and master technology.
In the age of artificial intelligence, machines can do many jobs, but only humans can inspire and inspire creativity. Female STEM educators are the symbol of that spirit: skilled, dedicated and burning with inspiration.
On the occasion of October 20 and November 20, we would like to express our gratitude to the pioneering women in STEM education, those who sow the seeds of knowledge, inspire creative aspirations and promote gender equality in the world of technology.
From today's classes, that light of knowledge will continue to spread - illuminating the future path of tens of thousands of Vietnamese students, where women and technology go hand in hand, reaching great dreams.
When women master technology - education touches the future!
