The 8th Congress of the Provincial Social Policy Bank's Grassroots Trade Union, term 2025

- On the morning of November 19, the Trade Union of the Provincial Social Policy Bank (PPB) held its 8th congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the congress were leaders of the Central PPB.

The Provincial Social Policy Bank's grassroots trade union has 11 trade unions with a total of 160 cadres, union members and workers. During the past term, the Provincial Social Policy Bank's grassroots trade union has closely followed the Resolution of the 7th Congress, closely coordinated with the Board of Directors, propagated and mobilized cadres, union members and workers to unite, organize implementation, and fully completed 100% of the targets set out in the Resolution of the Congress for the period 2023 - 2025.

In addition, the grassroots trade union has coordinated with the professional organization to implement the assigned political tasks every year. As a result, by September 30, 2025, the total outstanding loan programs of the entire branch reached 5,526 billion VND, an increase of 1,774 billion VND compared to the beginning of the term, the average annual growth rate during the term was 15.7%, completing 100% of the plan.

Along with performing well the political tasks, in the past term, the Provincial Social Policy Bank's grassroots trade union has done well in managing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers, participating in implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level; paying attention to propaganda and education work for union members, workers and cultural and sports activities; doing well in organizing emulation movements and emulation and reward work.

Regarding social security activities, 100% of union members and employees in the unit participated in supporting various funds, with the total amount of money mobilized and supported in the period of 2023 - 2025 reaching over 1.6 billion VND.

At the congress, delegates discussed the implementation of credit plan targets; growth of outstanding loans associated with improving credit quality; implementation of professional tasks and promotion of cultural, artistic and sports movements... At the same time, they contributed comments to the draft documents of the congress of the higher-level trade union.

Also at the congress, delegates elected the 8th Executive Committee of the Provincial Social Policy Bank's Grassroots Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 comrades; and elected delegates to attend the congress at a higher level.
