Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy expressed her respect and congratulations to generations of teachers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture on the 50-year journey of construction and development.
Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy acknowledged the innovation efforts of the School in recent times, especially in training and enrollment with many positive results: benchmark scores, quality and number of admitted candidates have all increased, demonstrating the increasingly consolidated prestige and position in the university system, especially in the cultural field.
Regarding scientific research, the Deputy Minister highly appreciated many topics that have been effectively applied in practice, contributing to the work of preserving and promoting national cultural values. The Deputy Minister congratulated the four new PhDs of the school who have just been awarded degrees, contributing to improving professional capacity and strengthening the teaching staff.

Along with training and research, the Deputy Minister acknowledged the role of the School in connecting the community and implementing creative cultural events; creating an environment for practical experience and expanding relationships between students, the community and businesses.
The Deputy Minister also appreciated the school's efforts in improving facilities, taking care of the spiritual life of lecturers and students and building a healthy cultural environment, thereby maintaining internal solidarity - an important foundation for the development of a cultural and artistic educational institution.
Regarding the future orientation, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy requested the School to continue promoting its 50-year tradition; seriously implementing the Party and State's resolutions on education innovation, science - technology and digital transformation, especially emphasizing Resolution 57 and Resolution 71; at the same time, hoping that the School will continue to improve training quality, develop teaching staff, promote digital transformation and strengthen applied research.

He emphasized the educational philosophy of "Comprehensive education - creating the future" and three core values: respect - responsibility - friendliness.
