
According to meteorological and hydrological station data, last night and early morning of November 21st, the eastern part of the region from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and the northern part of Khanh Hoa province experienced moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing very heavy rain.

Currently, the water level on the Dong Nai River (Dong Nai province) at the Ta Lai station is rising. At 1:00 AM on November 21st, the water level at the Ta Lai station was 112.5m (at alarm level 2).

The meteorological and hydrological agency predicts that in the next 12 hours, flood levels on the Ba River at the Cung Son station will fall below alarm level 2, and at the Phu Lam station below alarm level 3. At the same time, flood levels on the Kon River will continue to fall and remain below alarm level 2. However, flood levels on the Krong Ana River will continue to rise and remain above alarm level 3.
Over the next 12-24 hours, flood levels on the Ba River at the Cung Son station will continue to recede and remain below alarm level 1, while at the Phu Lam station they will be above alarm level 2; flood levels on the Kon River will continue to recede and remain below alarm level 2. However, flood levels on the Krong Ana River will continue to rise slowly and remain above alarm level 3.
The National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting also predicts that, over the next 24 hours, in Khanh Hoa province, flood levels on the Dinh - Ninh Hoa river will continue to recede and remain at alarm levels 2-3, while on the Cai Nha Trang and Cai Phan Rang rivers they will be at alarm level 1 to above alarm level 1. Flood levels on other rivers in Dak Lak will fluctuate at alarm levels 1-2. Flood levels on rivers in Hue City and Da Nang City will continue to recede and remain below to alarm level 1.
Although floodwaters are receding after peaking, according to the meteorological and hydrological agency, widespread flooding is still occurring in the area from Gia Lai to Khanh Hoa. There is a high risk of landslides from Hue City to Khanh Hoa province.
For the Dong Nai River basin, the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting predicts that in the next 6-12 hours, the flood level on the Dong Nai River will continue to rise and fluctuate above alarm level 2. In the following 12-24 hours, the flood level on the Dong Nai River will continue to fluctuate above alarm level 2, accompanied by the risk of flooding in low-lying areas along the riverbanks and landslides along the riverbanks and streams in the Dong Nai River basin within Dong Nai province.
The rain is still falling, but the intensity has decreased.
Regarding rainfall, the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting predicts that on November 21st, both day and night, the eastern part of the region from Da Nang to Dak Lak and the northern part of Khanh Hoa province will experience rainfall of 40-80mm, with some areas receiving over 150mm.
Throughout the day and night of November 22nd, this area still experienced rain, with rainfall generally ranging from 30-60mm, and in some localized areas exceeding 100mm.
On November 23rd, both day and night, the eastern part of the region from Da Nang to Gia Lai province experienced rainfall of 30-60mm, with some areas receiving very heavy rain exceeding 100mm. From November 24th onwards, heavy rainfall in Central Vietnam is expected to decrease rapidly.
