At this time, the Department of Construction is coordinating with the Ha Tinh Traffic Infrastructure Maintenance Management Center and functional units to inspect and assess the safety of Khe Ac Bridge at Km431+314 National Highway 15 in Huong Do Commune, Ha Tinh Province.
Khe Ac Bridge is one of six bridges in the bridge safety assessment project in Ha Tinh province that has been approved for investment by the Vietnam Road Administration.
The 6 bridges assessed as safe include Cua Nhuong Bridge at Km51+246 National Highway 15B; Khe Mo Bridge at Km439+594 National Highway 15; Khe Ac Bridge at Km431+314 National Highway 15; Tung Bridge at Km12+47 National Highway 8C; Tran Bridge at Km16+308 National Highway 8C; Tay Son Bridge at Km105+950 National Highway 281.
The 6 bridges inspected and assessed for safety this time are all bridges that have been put into operation and used for many years, with a large volume of people and vehicles passing through. In particular, some bridges have shown signs of damage, causing unsafety.

The bridges will be inspected and evaluated for their operability; assessed to ensure load-bearing safety and stability of the structures; and proposed operation regimes and repair plans for continued operation.
During the implementation of the work, the functional sector inspected the site, assessed the working capacity of the main load-bearing structural components, measured the current status of the structural components of the bridge; assessed the road surface condition on the bridge and the traffic safety system on the access road and on the bridge; measured and analyzed the vibration state of the span, abutment and pier structures.
The calculation of bridge safety assessment takes into account the measurement data and current survey. From here, a report on the results of the bridge safety assessment will be prepared.
