The Miss Universe 2025 final was held at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, on November 21. Miss Denmark Victoria Kjær Theilvig passed on the crown to her successor at the end of the event.
The Top 5 named in the final night were Thailand, Philippines, Venezuela, Mexico and Ivory Coast.
In the final response, the top 5 received the same question: "If you are crowned, how will you use this title to support the strength of young girls?" The Mexican beauty expressed: "I want to tell them that you are worthy, strong and your voice needs to be heard. Believe in yourself, never let anyone bring you down."
Miss Philippines replied: "I work with an organization where we accompany young people and give them opportunities to realize that their life circumstances do not determine where they will go. And I want to continue working with the organization on a bigger platform like Miss Universe, to pursue the goal of ensuring that people from low-income families are given the same opportunities as everyone else."

Finally, the crowned representative was Mexico Fatima Bosch, 25 years old. She graduated in Clothing and Fashion Design from the Iberoamericana University, then attended several art academies.
The Thai beauty is the first runner-up, Venezuela is the second runner-up, and the Philippines is the third runner-up.
The appearance of the Mexican representative in the top 5 and then winning the contest caused controversy. Before that, she was the one who had a conflict with Mr. Nawat and was accused by this president of not cooperating with the contest staff. In addition, the overall appearance and skills of this contestant also caused controversy.
At the time of the final, the Miss Universe 2025 fanpage was flooded with angry sentiments. This sentiment was overwhelming compared to other sentiments.

The Vietnamese contestant in this year's contest is Huong Giang. However, she missed the top 30.
The pageant was hosted by American stand-up comedian and actor Steve Byrne, Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel.
The pageant was held during the one-year mourning period following the passing of Queen Sirikit, the former Queen of Thailand. As a result, some of the contest content was adjusted according to the recommendations of the Thai Government .
Before the coronation night, Miss Universe caused a lot of controversy related to the behavior of Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil as well as legal disputes with Miss Universe Thailand.
During one event, Mr. Nawat yelled at the contestants, causing many girls to stand up and leave. He then continued to argue with Raúl Rocha Cantú, a Mexican businessman and one of the co-founders of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO).
Next, French businessman Omar Harfouch suddenly announced his withdrawal from the Miss Universe 2025 jury.
Omar Harfouch spoke out to expose the lack of transparency in the judging process. The top 30 preliminary contestants were chosen before the actual competition and were chosen without the presence of the 8 judges.
Omar Harfouch also revealed that one of the judges who selected the top 30 had an affair with a contestant during the competition. Omar Harfouch claimed that he spoke to Raúl Rocha Cantú to ask for transparency in the scoring of the contestants, but was refused. That was the main reason why this judge decided to quit.
Not long after that, the Miss Universe 2025 Organizing Committee announced. According to this unit, Mr. Omar Harfouch was mistaken because the Beyond the Crown program is a separate activity, unrelated to the results of the contest. Miss Universe affirmed that the official jury of the contest still operates according to established, transparent processes.
Miss Universe is the oldest and second largest beauty pageant in the world (along with Miss World). This is the 74th edition of this beauty pageant.
