Previously, at noon on November 17, Don Duong Lake also increased the discharge level through the spillway from 500m3 /second to 600m3 /second, causing many crop areas of people in communes along the Da Nhim River to be deeply flooded.
On the afternoon of November 19, the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command said that as of 3:30 p.m. the same day, the flood had inundated about 512 hectares of crops, mainly crops along the Da Nhim River. Specifically, D'ran commune had 300 hectares flooded, Ka Do commune had 150 hectares flooded, Quang Lap commune had 50 hectares, and Duc Trong commune had about 10 hectares.


In addition, heavy rains and floods caused landslides at 28 points and some roads were flooded and cut off, affecting traffic in Lam Dong.
