Traffic was severely affected when two bridges in Tang and Hoai villages were washed away by floodwaters; roads leading to the bridges were deeply flooded and landslides occurred. Some areas of bridges such as Krai A village, 7C village and Cham Hoai village were also flooded, forcing authorities to block off the roads and prevent people from passing through.

Faced with the complicated developments of floods, the leaders of the Ea Hiao Commune People's Committee directly inspected the villages and hamlets; assessed the risk of landslides, checked the safety of dams and bridges. At the same time, they issued warnings on loudspeakers, asking people not to cross streams or fast-flowing water points; set up warning ropes and deployed forces at dangerous locations.

Notably, the commune government urgently evacuated two households with six people in Krai A hamlet out of the area at high risk of landslides, ensuring safety of life.
Currently, the People's Committee of Ea Hiao commune is continuously implementing flood monitoring and response work; closely following weather developments, proactively taking measures to protect people's safety and limit damage caused by floods.
