A few days ago, on a journey to explore the northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam, Mr. David (54 years old, Irish nationality) happened to pass by a village in Lang Son.

The male tourist was amazed by the golden, flat rice fields, surrounded by limestone mountains, and a poetic river flowing across. Along the fields were traditional wooden houses with unique architecture.

Without hesitation, David decided to go to the village, rent a homestay for a few days, enjoy the "picturesque" beauty, fresh air, peace here and join in the golden festival atmosphere.

"I don't know how long I will stay here because this place is so beautiful, I want to admire it carefully. I enjoy looking at the traditional houses of the locals with ancient, handmade tiled roofs, wooden pillars, wooden ladders, wooden doors...", Mr. David shared.

Not only that, he was also conquered by the cuisine here with specialties such as sausage, roast meat, black banh chung, stir-fried vegetables...

"The villagers were incredibly friendly. They welcomed me like a close friend visiting their hometown, without any distance," the Irish tourist added.

The village where Mr. David stopped was Quynh Son community tourism village (Bac Son commune, Lang Son). When he arrived here, David was surprised to know that this place was "The best tourist village in the world in 2025".

"With beautiful scenery, friendly people, and unique culture, I think Quynh Son deserves this award," David expressed his feelings.

Mr. Alex, a tourist from Canada, also spent 3 days exploring the beauty of Quynh Son village and Bac Son valley during the rice harvest season.

For the first time in his life, Alex saw people harvesting rice, pounding rice, and skillfully wrapping banh chung - a specialty he had only seen on the internet. The male tourist did not hesitate to shout and cheer for the people.

"I came here following Google's instructions but was captivated by the scenery, culture and especially the friendly people. I didn't need any tour guide. The boys here would proactively come to talk to me and introduce me to the activities of the villagers. That was wonderful," Alex said.

The award "World's Best Tourist Village 2025" both affirms the unique indigenous cultural values ​​and opens up a direction for sustainable tourism development for Quynh Son village.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hanh, Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Lang Son province, the important criterion to help Quynh Son become "The best tourist village in the world 2025" is the indigenous cultural value.

The entire village currently preserves more than 400 traditional stilt houses, roofed with yin-yang tiles, all facing south, terraced fields winding through the valley and many traditional crafts such as weaving, brocade weaving, making black banh chung...

The people here are hospitable, live in harmony, and still preserve the customs and habits of the Tay people. It is the unity and originality in space, architecture, people and culture that helped Quynh Son create a strong impression on the international council.

"Achieving the title is difficult, but maintaining and promoting it is even more difficult. In the coming time, we will focus on two key tasks: preserving indigenous cultural values ​​and improving the quality of community tourism services," said Ms. Hanh.

According to representatives of some travel agencies, becoming the "World's Best Tourist Village 2025" is making domestic and international tourists more interested in Quynh Son and tours to explore Lang Son.
