Ensuring safe electricity supply for production, business activities and people's lives in the last months of the year

In order to ensure continuous and safe power supply to serve customers' production and daily life at the end of the year, Tuyen Quang Electricity Company has synchronously deployed solutions to enhance the operational capacity of the power system to serve daily life, entertainment, and recreation needs, as well as ensure electricity for production and business in the area.

In order to meet the demand for electricity at the end of the year, especially for activities related to production and business, serving the production of units, Tuyen Quang Electricity Company has directed functional departments and affiliated Power Teams to organize a review of the entire power grid to promptly detect weak points with the risk of causing incidents, high load status of power lines and distribution transformer stations. Synthesize points of threat of incidents, organize to fix defects on the power grid, perform phase reversal, load sharing of power lines and transformer stations with high load.

Tuyen Quang Electricity Company is currently managing over 484,000 customers with a widespread power grid system including 13 110kV transformer stations with a total capacity of 815 MVA; 774 km of 110kV lines; 5,539 km of medium voltage lines; 8,437 km of low voltage lines; 3,376 distribution transformer stations with a total capacity of 623,622 kVA. This is an important infrastructure, directly serving the electricity needs of people, businesses and political , cultural and social activities in the area.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hao, Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Electricity Company, said that in order to ensure stable electricity supply for people and businesses in the area in the last months of the year, the company has directed units, departments, and boards to inspect, urge, and review the quality of the establishment and implementation of power supply plans of each Power Team. At the same time, no power outages will affect the production plans for the end of 2025 of businesses in the area, except in cases of incident handling. The company also arranged on-duty forces, spare equipment and supplies, fuel, communication systems, and vehicles to ensure timely handling when incidents occur.

Currently, Tuyen Quang Power Company has put 13 110 kV transformer stations into unmanned mode, and remotely connected and controlled 270 reclosers and 143 LBS devices on the medium voltage grid. From the remote control center, it is possible to monitor and supervise operating modes, perform on/off control, and change the working modes of devices at 110 kV transformer stations and reclosers/LBS devices on the grid.

Putting the remote control center into operation, converting 110 kV transformer stations with operators into 110 kV transformer stations without operators has helped Tuyen Quang Electricity Company promote the application of digital technology , innovate and improve the process of managing and operating the power system, in order to continuously improve and enhance the efficiency in managing and operating the 110 kV power system, ensuring safe and stable power supply for production activities of enterprises in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Luan, Director of Tuyen Quang Iron and Steel Company Limited, said: In 2025, the company strives to produce over 288,000 tons of steel, with a revenue of over 3,400 billion VND. The last months of the year are the peak months for the company to focus on production to promptly supply to customers in the domestic and foreign markets. Therefore, the demand for electricity for production and business activities is very large. Every year, the company has proactively checked the electrical system to ensure safety and avoid incidents related to the electrical system that affect the company's production.

As an area with a large amount of electricity consumption during the last months of the year, the Minh Xuan Regional Power Management Team and the Ha Giang Regional Power Management Team have deployed many synchronous solutions to ensure the needs of daily life, entertainment, as well as ensure electricity for production and business activities in the area.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Truong, Deputy Director of the Minh Xuan Regional Power Management Team, at the end of the year, customers' demand for electricity is very high. Therefore, all activities of the Electricity industry must be carefully calculated to limit the impact on production and daily life of the people. In particular, the unit's power supply plan for the New Year and Lunar New Year always closely follows the local political and social activities.
