Two teachers of Ton Duc Thang University received commemorative medals from the Senate of the Czech Republic

On the afternoon of November 19, during his State visit to Vietnam to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic, President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil visited and worked at Ton Duc Thang University.

Within the framework of the program, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic presented commemorative medals to two teachers of Ton Duc Thang University: Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Rector; Dr. Phan Dao, Director of the European Cooperation Center.

Two teachers were awarded commemorative medals for their outstanding contributions in the field of education and training and promoting cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Phan Dao (left), Director of the European Cooperation Center - Ton Duc Thang University, received a commemorative medal from President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Milos Vystrcil.

President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil appreciated Ton Duc Thang University's efforts in promoting academic exchange programs, scientific research and educational cooperation with Czech higher education institutions.

He said that Ton Duc Thang University is one of the Vietnamese universities with the strongest and most effective cooperation activities with Czech partners, contributing to deepening the traditional friendship between the two countries.

During the meeting, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic spent time exchanging and discussing with lecturers and students of the school about cooperation opportunities in education, research, and innovation; and expressed his wish to expand more connection programs between students of the two countries in the coming time.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao expressed his respect and gratitude for the fact that President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milos Vystrcil chose the school as the place to visit and talk with teachers and students.

The event became even more special because the whole country was celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).

Mr. Tran Trong Dao said the school will continue to make efforts to develop training programs, joint research and expand international cooperation networks, especially with universities and educational institutions in the Czech Republic.
