Schools celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

Attending the ceremony were: Ms. Vu Thi Bich Viet, former Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education; former leaders of the Department of Education and Training; former Principals and Vice Principals of the school through the periods; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and Training; relatives of the late Professor, Doctor, Minister Nguyen Van Huyen and all staff, teachers and more than 1,740 students of the school.

Nguyen Van Huyen High School was established in 1969 with the original name of Yen Son High School. After nearly 60 years, the school has changed its name 3 times and in 2005, the school was officially named after the late Minister Nguyen Van Huyen. This is a great honor, creating motivation for the school to constantly develop, maintaining the spirit of "knowledge - personality - creative work" that the late Minister promoted.

Over the years, Nguyen Van Huyen High School has continuously improved the scale and quality of comprehensive education, achieving the title of Excellent Labor Collective for many consecutive years. The school was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President , the Emulation Flag from the Government and many Certificates of Merit from all levels. In 2018, the school was recognized as a National Standard School.

The school has actively implemented major movements of the industry such as: "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; the movement "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning" and the program "Building a happy - friendly - safe school". Thanks to that, the comprehensive education quality of the school is increasingly solid. In recent years, the rate of excellent students has reached nearly 20%, the annual high school graduation rate has reached over 99%, and the first choice admission rate to universities and colleges has reached over 85%.

Nguyen Van Huyen High School received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.

100% of the school's staff and teachers have met the training standards, including 15 comrades with master's degrees, accounting for 19.7%. Many individuals and groups have received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry, Department of Education and Training, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for innovation and creativity. The Department of Education and Training also awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025.

* On the morning of November 20 , Tan Trao University solemnly celebrated the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20 , 2025 ).

In his speech reviewing the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day, Principal of Tan Trao University Nguyen Minh Anh Tuan expressed his gratitude and warm congratulations to all lecturers, teachers, officials and workers for their efforts, endeavors, innovation and dedication to the cause of "growing people" in general, and to the development of Tan Trao University in particular; and expressed his gratitude to the teachers who were former leaders and former teachers of the school through the periods who have and continue to make contributions to the development of the school.

Leaders of Tan Trao University presented flowers to delegates who used to work in the education sector and former school leaders of different periods, and retired officials in 2025.

Tan Trao University has become a multi-disciplinary, multi-field university; a place to train high-quality human resources; a prestigious regional center for science and technology and knowledge transfer, gradually affirming its reputation and brand in the community and society; creating a solid position in the Vietnamese education system.

At the ceremony, representatives of generations of lecturers, students and alumni of the school gave speeches expressing their belief and pride in the 43-year tradition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, in the noble career of "cultivating people"; at the same time, expressing their determination to preserve and promote the tradition of "Respecting teachers and valuing education", vowing to unite, overcome all challenges, constantly innovate and promote the school's tradition; constantly fostering love and enthusiasm for the profession.

Leaders of the Center for Education Quality Assessment awarded the Certificate of Quality Assessment to 3 training programs of Tan Trao University.

On this occasion, teachers and students of the school were delighted to receive the Certificate of Quality Assessment for 3 training programs of the majors: Information Technology, Social Work and Cultural Management according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training; and awarded 64 scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements.

* On the morning of November 20, Tuyen Quang Technical and Technology Vocational College held a ceremony to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Attending the program were former school leaders of all periods, former teachers, representatives of Ha Giang College of Technology and Engineering, representatives of enterprises and all leaders, officers, lecturers and workers of the school.

School leaders awarded certificates of merit to lecturers who won prizes at the Vocational Education Teachers' Conference.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the training quality of the College of Engineering and Technology continues to improve, the employment rate of graduates reaches over 94%, of which 98% of college students have immediate jobs; 100% of businesses have good reviews about the work style and discipline of learners; nearly 90% highly appreciate the ability to meet the job requirements. These feedbacks help the school adjust the training program to be more practical.

In 2025, the school will enroll 1,065 college and intermediate students, reaching 152% of the plan; at the same time, it will train more than 1,200 car drivers, nearly 4,500 A1 motorcycle students and hundreds of vocational students. The international cooperation network continues to expand with teacher training programs in Germany and Korea; short-term vocational training for students in Xieng Khouang province (Laos); and recruitment and training links according to business orders.

On this occasion, the school awarded 6 certificates of merit to collectives, 10 certificates of merit to cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Cadres, Civil servants, and Employees Block; awarded 5 certificates of merit to collectives, 8 certificates of merit to students of the Student Block with outstanding achievements in the emulation period; awarded 24 prizes to civil servants and employees participating in cultural and artistic activities of the cadres and lecturers block; and 12 prizes to collectives and individuals of the Student Block with high achievements participating in the Student Block's Art Performance.

Along with that, the school also awarded 9 certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in movements and in the work of preventing, fighting and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 Yagi.
