In particular, Standing Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen proposed that the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung consider providing financial support for the province to overcome the consequences, ensuring proper implementation of the provisions in Clause 3, Article 17 of Decree 66/2021/ND-CP.
The province has proposed to support about 600 billion VND to help overcome the damage caused by natural disasters to houses, agricultural production (crops, livestock, aquatic products, etc.) and repair critical infrastructure systems. This fund will be used for items such as building embankments to prevent landslides on river and stream banks; dredging and clearing flood discharge channels; repairing damaged bridges, culverts, residential roads, irrigation works; reinforcing embankments to prevent landslides on traffic routes, etc.
At the same time, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also proposed that the engineering force of Military Region 7 support reinforcements to Lam Dong province to coordinate with the functional forces of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to survey, fix and repair damaged roads at Prenn Pass and Mimosa Pass.

Previously, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province said that recently, natural disasters have caused severe damage to infrastructure, housing and agricultural production in the area. Initial estimates show that the total damage to housing and agriculture (crops, livestock, aquatic products, etc.) is up to about 800.22 billion VND. Particularly, from November 17 to 9:00 a.m. on November 20, the total damage in the province is estimated at about 95 billion VND. Currently, localities are continuing to review, count and count the damage in detail.

The Provincial People's Committee said that the remaining budget reserve is about 99 billion VND, expected to be used for overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics; supporting damage to houses, agricultural production and carrying out extraordinary spending tasks according to the provisions of the State Budget Law. However, local resources are still limited while the need for funding to overcome the damage is very large, especially the tasks of repairing key works; supporting the recovery of damage to houses, crops, livestock and aquatic products; as well as restoring essential infrastructure systems such as embankments to prevent landslides on river banks and streams; dredging and clearing the flow; handling damaged bridges, culverts, residential roads, irrigation works and traffic routes that have been eroded.
