12 Quang Ngai residents working for hire in Khanh Hoa were surrounded by floodwaters, one person is missing.

QNgTV- A group of 12 people from Quang Ngai who went to Khanh Hoa province to work were surrounded by floodwaters. One person was swept away and went missing. The remaining 11 people were isolated for many days and called home for help.

A group of Quang Ngai province citizens working for hire were isolated in the middle of the forest in Khanh Hoa province due to floodwaters.

Mr. Huynh Viet Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Xa Commune, Quang Ngai Province, and a group of people living in Nuoc Chach Village, work as hired workers for acacia in Khanh Vinh Commune ( Khanh Hoa Province).

Earlier, on the evening of November 17, floodwaters from the stream rose and flowed through the tent area where the group was staying. Mr. Pham Van Roi (49 years old) was swept away by the floodwaters and lost contact. Due to the strong currents of the floodwaters, the group was isolated and had no food left.

According to the clip the group of citizens sent to the local authorities for help, they set up makeshift tents right on the stream bank. Above them were the canopy of dense acacia forests.

Ba Xa Commune Police contacted Khanh Vinh Commune Police (Khanh Hoa Province) to find ways to support the people. Khanh Vinh Commune authorities also joined in to support with the hope of soon reaching the group of people to supply food and take them to a safe place.
