A new storm is about to enter the East Sea, heading towards the Red River Delta and North Central Coast.

According to the latest storm bulletin of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm BUALOI will enter the East Sea tomorrow night (September 26), becoming storm number 10 in 2025. The bulletin also updates the final news about storm number 9 - storm Ragasa.

This afternoon (September 25), the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updated the final bulletin on storm No. 9. According to the bulletin, this afternoon, the tropical depression (weakened from storm No. 9) has weakened into a low pressure area over the Quang Ninh area.

At 1 p.m., the low pressure area was located at approximately 21.5 degrees North latitude; 107.8 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind in the center of the low pressure area was below level 6 (below 39 km/h). It is forecasted that in the next 12 hours, the low pressure area will continue to move mainly in a westerly direction, weakening and gradually dissipating.

Information about storm BUALOI, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, the center of the storm was located at about 11.1 degrees North latitude; 128.1 degrees East longitude, in the sea east of the Philippines. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting to level 15. Moving in the West Northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h.

It is forecasted that around the night of September 26, storm BUALOI will enter the eastern sea area of ​​the Central East Sea, becoming storm number 10 in 2025. Forecast of storm developments (in the next 24 to 72 hours):

At 1 p.m. on September 27, storm BUALOI moved in a West-Northwest direction, at about 25 km/h, into the East Sea, at a speed of about 25 km/h. The strongest wind near the storm center was level 12, gusting to level 15. Disaster risk was forecast at level 3 in the East of the North and Central East Sea.

As of 1 p.m. on September 28, storm BUALOI is moving west-northwest at about 25 km/h, with the possibility of strengthening. The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12-13, gusting to level 16. Disaster risk is forecast at level 3 in the northern and central areas of the East Sea (including Hoang Sa special zone).

From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm continued to move rapidly in the Northwest direction, at a speed of 25km/h. Due to the influence of storm BUALOI, from the evening of September 26, the sea area east of the North and Central East Sea had strong winds of level 6-7, then increased to level 8-9, the area near the storm center had winds of level 10-12, gusts of level 15, waves over 5.0-7.0m high, rough seas.

Vessels operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are susceptible to the impact of storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.
