This is one of the activities under the project "Capacity Development on Environmental Protection and Climate Change Mitigation," giai đoạn 2024-2027, funded by the Australian Government and implemented by Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA in collaboration with the Provincial Women's Union.
Previously, the project management team established a community monitoring team to enhance the dissemination of information and guidance on sorting and processing organic waste at the household level. Numerous training sessions were also organized to guide waste sorting at source and the processing of organic waste into compost using IMO microbial enzymes. Simultaneously, necessary equipment was provided (33 sorting bins, 20 organic waste composting bins, and 10 "Green Houses") for storing recyclable waste collected by households.
Through these activities, the awareness and sense of responsibility of female officials, members, and the public in protecting the environment and responding to climate change are enhanced, contributing to reducing household waste, increasing the reuse of organic waste, creating a source of clean fertilizer for crops, and improving the green, clean, and beautiful living landscape.
In addition, the project introduces environmentally friendly, biodegradable products to local people, contributing to the spread of a green lifestyle and sustainable consumption in the community.
