(NLĐO) - The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has just reviewed and imposed disciplinary measures on two Party organizations and several Party members.
Accordingly, regarding projects and contracts implemented by Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company and related companies in Ho Chi Minh City, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee has reviewed and imposed disciplinary action in the form of a reprimand against the Party Committee of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Works for the 2020-2025 term.
The Party Committee of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport Infrastructure Projects for the 2020-2025 term violated the principle of democratic centralism and the working regulations of the Party Committee; lacked responsibility in leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of the implementation of political tasks, allowing the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transport Infrastructure Projects to have shortcomings and violations related to several bidding packages; and was slow in implementing the conclusions of inspections and audits by competent authorities.
Regarding the individual responsibility for the aforementioned shortcomings and violations, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission has disciplined three Party members with a reprimand. These are Mr. Luong Minh Phuc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Projects; Mr. Le Ngoc Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Projects; and Mr. Nguyen Vinh Ninh, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and former Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Transportation Projects.
Disciplinary action in the form of a Warning was issued to the Party Committee of the Urban Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board for the term 2020-2025.
Accordingly, the Party Committee of the Urban Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board for the 2020-2025 term violated the principle of democratic centralism and the working regulations of the Party Committee; lacked responsibility and neglected leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of the implementation of political tasks, allowing the Project Management Board for the construction of transportation projects to have shortcomings and violations related to several bidding packages; and had key Party members who violated Party regulations and State laws on preventing and combating corruption and negative practices.

Regarding individual responsibility for the aforementioned shortcomings and violations, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission has disciplined Mr. Nguyen Hoang Anh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and Deputy Director of the Urban Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board, with a reprimand, and expelled Mr. Le Thanh Tung, Party Branch Secretary and Head of Project Management Board 4, Urban Infrastructure Investment and Construction Project Management Board.
Regarding the incident at the Union of Friendship Organizations of the city, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission has reviewed and imposed a reprimand on two Party members who are leaders of the Union for violating Party regulations and the Union's working regulations in leading, directing, inspecting, and supervising the implementation of political tasks; allowing the Union's Inspection Committee to operate improperly; and failing to ensure transparency in the collection and expenditure of funds raised...
Regarding party members who violated the law, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed and imposed disciplinary action in the form of expulsion against Mr. Huynh Van Toan, former Party Committee member and former Deputy General Director of Dak Lak Rubber Company Limited, for violating legal regulations in the management and use of state assets, causing losses and waste at Dak Lak Rubber Company Limited.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has considered and imposed disciplinary action in the form of expulsion against Mr. Vo Sy Luc, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and former Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group, for violating legal regulations in the management and use of the land plot at address No. 39 - 39B, Ben Van Don Street, Ward 12, District 4.
