What should candidates do after registering for the high school graduation exam?

Mr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training), said that right after the end of registration for the high school graduation exam, there are still some important tasks thateducational institutions and candidates must complete.

From now until May 22, candidates need to check their exam registration information one last time.

Specifically, for the Department of Education and Training and schools where candidates register for the exam, they must review, check, and edit candidate information for accuracy (if any) and will be implemented from May 14 to 19.

After that, the units will print the list of candidates who have registered online, check it one last time and have the candidates sign to confirm the registration information on the form and list, then continue to check and cross-check the candidate information, ending no later than May 25.

For candidates who have registered for the high school graduation exam, please note that together with the school where you registered for the exam, you should check the information again before signing the confirmation form and list. Only after doing this, will the candidates officially complete the registration.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5 p.m. on May 13, 1.02 million candidates had successfully registered for the exam. Of these, 94.51% registered online, the rest registered in person. There were 48,309 independent candidates (4.71%). The number of candidates who were only taking the graduation exam was 73,232 (7.14%); the number of candidates who were only taking the admission exam was 34,203 (3.34%); the number of candidates who were taking the exam for both graduation and university admission was 917,731 (89.52%).

According to regulations, candidates studying in grade 12 in the 2022-2023 school year must register for the exam 100% online on the exam management system; independent candidates must register for the exam directly at the exam registration unit specified by the Department of Education and Training.
