The 2024 high school graduation exam will officially take place on June 26, 27, 28 and 29. Ahead of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has important notes for candidates.
When doing the exam procedures
On June 26, candidates will complete the procedures to take the 2024 high school graduation exam. On this day, they will be issued exam cards. When receiving the exam card, it is necessary to carefully check the information on the card. In case of any errors, candidates must immediately notify the exam room supervisor to correct the information promptly.

Candidates have the opportunity to correct any incorrect information on the day of the exam registration procedure for the admission information. This is an opportunity for them to review the information before taking the exam.
According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, to prevent taking exams by others and taking exams for others, in addition to checking the candidates' identification documents when called into the exam room, during the exam, the exam supervisor still checks and compares the candidates' identification documents.
Regarding the issue of whether students can use VNeID instead of citizen identification card (CCCD) to complete exam procedures, a representative of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training said that candidates are not allowed to use CCCD on VNeID to complete procedures for high school graduation exams and admission for the 2024 school year.
Because the regulations on exam conditions clearly state that candidates must present the original identification documents used to register for the exam when completing the exam procedures. On the other hand, VNeID, even though it integrates CCCD, is not considered a valid identification document in this case.
In fact, the VNeID application is installed on the phone, while the phone is one of the items prohibited from being brought into the exam room, so this electronic application cannot be used for authentication during the exam registration process.
Prof. Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that in case of losing the CCCD card or other necessary documents, candidates must immediately report to the head of the examination site for consideration and handling. The examination council will handle the situation by requiring candidates to make a commitment to take the exam.
Another special point to note is that candidates must be present at the examination room at the specified time stated in the Examination Notice to complete the examination procedures: Present ID card and receive Examination Card.
If there are any errors in last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, priority subjects, priority areas, they must be reported to the Examination Council staff for timely handling.
Therefore, if a candidate arrives more than 15 minutes late after the test start time, he/she will not be allowed to take the test. When assigned a number in the test room, the candidate must sit in the correct position with his/her registration number.
Before taking the exam, you must fill in or completely fill in the registration number on the exam paper, exam paper, multiple choice answer sheet (TLTN), and scratch paper; when receiving the exam paper, you must carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages. No later than 10 minutes after distributing the exam paper, if you discover that the exam paper is missing pages or is torn, damaged, blurred, or faded, you must report to the invigilator in the exam room.

Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination room until the time for the multiple-choice test is over.

In case of necessity, candidates may only leave the examination room with permission from the invigilator and must be supervised by the invigilator. Candidates leaving the examination room or examination area in case of emergency must be supervised by the police and invigilator until the end of the examination session and must be decided by the Head of the Examination Site.
When the test time is over, candidates must stop working immediately and keep their test papers intact.
