Meanwhile, Apple's online store in Vietnam has not adjusted the prices of the iPhone 17 series, indicating that all current price reductions are at the discretion of individual retailers.
Currently, buyers are benefiting most from the Pro Max line. The 256GB version is now priced at 37 million VND, 1 million VND cheaper than before, while the 512GB version has dropped to 43 million VND after a 1.5 million VND reduction. The iPhone 17 Pro has also seen a slight price drop, ranging from 300,000 VND for the lowest-end version to 1.7 million VND for the 1TB version, now priced at 46.3 million VND.
Standard iPhone 17 models are seeing price reductions ranging from 400,000 to 800,000 VND. Customers who choose to shop at smaller retailers may be able to bargain down an additional 100,000 to 300,000 VND depending on color and storage capacity.

Despite the price reduction, the overall cost of owning an iPhone 17 Pro Max remains high. However, this device is a dominant choice compared to other models of the same generation from Apple. According to a representative of an authorized dealer (AAR) in Vietnam, the iPhone 17 Pro Max accounts for 60% of the total iPhone 17 sales in their system. Larger dealers even report higher percentages, confirming that Pro Max models account for over 70% of iPhone 17 sales.
In terms of storage capacity, the 256GB version continues to be the most popular, attracting 80% of buyers. This is followed by the 512GB version with 15%, and the remainder belongs to the 1TB and 2TB versions.
In stark contrast to its contemporaries, the iPhone Air is experiencing a series of price drops. Since its launch, the 256GB version has lost 9 million VND, now costing 23 million VND. The 512GB version has dropped even further, by nearly 9.5 million VND compared to its original price, down to 29 million VND. The 1TB version is now priced at 34.5 million VND, 10.5 million VND lower than its initial listed price.
However, the sharp decline also began to attract more interested customers. A representative from an AAR assessed that iPhone Air sales improved significantly after each price adjustment, although most consumers still leaned towards the iPhone 17 series as they felt it was a more reliable choice.
