(Chinhphu.vn) - The UPCoM market in August 2025 continued its upward trend in both points and liquidity. The UPCoM-Index closed the month at 111 points on August 29, 2025, an increase of 5.41 points compared to 105.59 points at the end of July 2025.

UPCoM market: Liquidity increased by 17.7% compared to July.

The average trading volume reached 106.56 million shares/session, an increase of 17.7% compared to 90.52 million shares/session in the previous month. The average trading value reached VND 1,504.83 billion/session, an increase of 9.1% compared to August 2025.

Foreign investors' transactions in August 2025 continued to show a net selling position, with the volume of shares sold reaching 67.68 million shares, while the volume of shares purchased reached 19.03 million shares. The total net selling value exceeded VND 1,012 billion.

The total value of proprietary trading on the UPCoM market in August 2025 reached VND 200.8 billion, a sharp decrease compared to VND 567 billion in July 2025. Of this, the value of purchases reached VND 119 billion, and the value of sales reached VND 81.8 billion, resulting in a net buying position of VND 37.2 billion during the month.

In August 2025, the UPCoM market saw 3 companies officially listed and 2 companies delisted. As of August 31, 2025, the entire market had 888 companies registered for trading. The average market capitalization reached approximately VND 1,345 trillion, a slight decrease of about 5.75% compared to VND 1,427 trillion at the end of July.
