UPCoM market in August: Liquidity increased by 17.7% compared to the previous month

(Chinhphu.vn) - The UPCoM market in August 2025 continued to maintain an upward trend in both points and liquidity. The UPCoM-Index ended the month at the session on August 29, 2025 at 111 points, up 5.41 points compared to the level of 105.59 points at the end of July 2025.

UPCoM market: Liquidity increased by 17.7% compared to July

The average trading volume reached 106.56 million shares/session, up 17.7% compared to 90.52 million shares/session last month. The average trading value reached VND 1,504.83 billion/session, up 9.1% compared to August 2025.

Foreign investors' transactions in August 2025 continued to record net selling, with the selling volume reaching 67.68 million shares, while the buying volume reached 19.03 million shares. The total net selling value reached over VND 1,012 billion.

The total value of proprietary trading on the UPCoM market in August 2025 reached VND 200.8 billion, a sharp decrease compared to VND 567 billion in July 2025. Of which, the purchase value reached VND 119 billion, the sale value reached VND 81.8 billion, recording a net purchase status of VND 37.2 billion in the month.

The UPCoM market in August 2025 recorded 3 enterprises officially put into trading and 2 enterprises canceled their trading registration. As of August 31, 2025, the whole market had 888 enterprises registered for trading. The average capitalization value reached about 1,345 trillion VND, a slight decrease of about 5.75% compared to 1,427 trillion VND at the end of July.
