Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School in Hanoi has achieved Level 1 standard.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of December 19, the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy - Hanoi City Party Committee held a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School in Hanoi as meeting Level 1 standards.

Striving to be worthy of being the leading training center for cadres in the Capital.

Reporting at the ceremony, Associate Professor Pham Minh Anh, Rector of Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School, stated that with the highest political determination and the direct and comprehensive guidance of the Hanoi City Party Committee, the school has now comprehensively standardized all 6/6 groups of criteria with 55/55 indicators completed, including 11 indicators exceeding the standard.

Notably, the criteria for staff and faculty include 5 groups of indicators, with a total of 29/29 indicators meeting the standards, including 7 indicators exceeding the standards; 100% of lecturers have a Master's degree or higher (exceeding the regulation by 10%), of which 17/71 lecturers are PhDs (accounting for 23.94%) and 12 staff members are currently pursuing doctoral studies.

The school met all 9/9 criteria regarding scientific research activities and practical summation, with 2 indicators exceeding the standard for scientific projects at the school and provincial levels or equivalent or higher.

In October 2025, the construction project for the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School in Phu Luong ward, covering an area of ​​over 4.2 hectares, officially commenced. This will be a spacious and modern facility, befitting the status of the capital city, creating a solid foundation for the school to aim for Level 2 standards in the near future.

The Principal of Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School affirmed that the school will continue to make relentless efforts, maintain and improve the quality of its criteria, and strive to soon achieve Level 2 standards, deserving to be a leading center for cadre training and theoretical research in the capital and the whole country.

The Party Committee of the School has consistently achieved the title of "Successfully Completed Tasks" or higher, and the School has been honored to receive the First-Class Labor Medal (2019), the Third-Class Labor Medal (2024), and many Flags and Certificates of Merit from the City and the Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council - highly appreciated the leadership and close guidance of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and the efforts of the school's staff, lecturers, officials, and workers in investing in improving quality to achieve the goal of reaching Level 1 standard.

According to Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, the evaluation and assessment process leading to the recognition of the school as meeting Level 1 standards was carried out very seriously and rigorously, with the spirit of not failing to meet any criteria. The results achieved today are the product of a well-planned and organized implementation process, especially in building a team of staff and lecturers.

Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Nguyen Xuan Thang, suggested that the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School continue its efforts to further improve the quality of cadre training and development, not only fulfilling its task of training cadres for the City but also for the Central Government, and strengthening international cooperation. He also emphasized the need to improve the quality of scientific research, doing a truly good job to build trust and secure orders from the City to serve future development tasks.

Appreciating the Hanoi City's attention to investing in a new facility for the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School, covering an area of ​​4.2 hectares, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that the school make the most of this important condition to strive to achieve Level 2 standards in 2026, contributing to the city's successful implementation of political tasks, especially the successful implementation of the City Party Congress Resolution and the highly effective implementation of the Politburo's strategic resolutions.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Hanoi City Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc acknowledged, highly appreciated, and commended the efforts of generations of cadres, officials, workers, and students of the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School. He also warmly congratulated the school on its honor of being recognized as achieving Level 1 standards – a milestone in its 76-year journey of construction and development.

Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc urged officials, lecturers, staff, and workers of the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School to fully absorb the directives, develop a clear roadmap, and strive to achieve Level 2 standards as instructed by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy.

Regarding the requirements and tasks that the city is setting for 2026 and the coming years, especially in terms of strategic vision and urgent tasks such as the city focusing on perfecting institutions and planning, the Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee emphasized that in order to implement these important goals and tasks, Hanoi must have a workforce that meets high quality requirements.

Therefore, with its important functions and responsibilities in training, fostering, and conducting scientific research for the city, the Le Hong Phong Cadre Training School plays a very important role.

The Party Secretary of the City Committee requested the school to continue researching comprehensive innovation in both curriculum and teaching methods, developing and implementing curricula that apply digital transformation, gradually meeting the requirements for training and developing cadres in both centralized and self-study formats, helping cadres gradually achieve standards in management and operation, improving the quality of service of the local government model 2, and contributing to the development of the Capital.

The Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee affirmed that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will direct focused investment in the school to develop its infrastructure, creating conditions for the school to become a model school, serving the city's political system in successfully carrying out political tasks in the coming period.
