Hoa Thanh town officially recognized as a type III urban area

Hoa Thanh is recognized as a type IV urban area according to Decision No. 1708/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction dated December 28, 2018.

On January 10, 2020, Hoa Thanh town was established under Resolution No. 865/NQ-UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the establishment of Hoa Thanh town, communes and wards of Hoa Thanh town and recognition of the completion of the task of building new rural areas in 2020.

The urban appearance of Hoa Thanh town is increasingly prosperous.

In recent years, Hoa Thanh town has focused on investing in infrastructure development such as increasingly synchronous traffic infrastructure, many roads have been invested in and expanded; education and health systems have been well invested, and the urban appearance has become more and more spacious.

Hoa Thanh town's traffic infrastructure is increasingly synchronous.

According to statistics from the Town People's Committee, since the beginning of the term, implementing the breakthrough program of mobilizing resources to invest in traffic infrastructure to serve the development of Hoa Thanh town to a type III urban area, the town has arranged more than 400 project categories with a total investment capital of more than 746 billion VND to invest in developing traffic infrastructure.

With outstanding results, on February 10, 2025, the Minister of Construction decided to recognize Hoa Thanh town, Tay Ninh province as a type III urban area.

Hoa Thanh town is recognized by the Ministry of Construction as a type III urban area.

Accordingly, the type III urban area of Hoa Thanh town with the entire boundary and population of the town, has a natural area of about 82.92 ^km2, of which the inner-city area includes 4 wards (Long Hoa, Long Thanh Trung, Long Thanh Bac, Hiep Tan); the suburban area includes 4 communes (Long Thanh Nam, Truong Tay, Truong Hoa and Truong Dong). The current population of Hoa Thanh town is 139,853 people, of which the inner-city population is 68,887 people and the suburban population is 70,966 people.

Being recognized as a type III urban area will help Hoa Thanh town orient its development and investment in upgrading all aspects according to higher criteria; thereby, bringing a civilized and modern urban appearance, improving the quality of life of the people.
