- Due to the impact of storm No. 11 (storm MATMO), as of 3:00 p.m. on October 9, the province suffered estimated property damage of over 1,050 billion VND.

Due to the impact of storm No. 11, on October 6, 2025, the province had moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain. The rainfall from 7:00 a.m. on October 6 to 1:00 p.m. on October 7 in some places in the province reached 285 mm, in some other places the rainfall was about 200 mm. Heavy rain caused flooding in some places in the province, causing severe property damage.

Specifically, as of 3 p.m. on October 9, in the province, 3 people were injured; 5,100 households had their houses collapsed, flooded, or had landslides...; 9 educational facilities were affected; 668 traffic points were eroded and flooded; over 3,894 hectares of rice, 1,028 hectares of crops were flooded; 30 hectares of fruit trees, 58 hectares of forest were broken; 29 electric poles were broken, many areas had power outages, and widespread telecommunications networks were lost. In addition, over 100 irrigation works and items were damaged and suffered varying degrees of damage... The total estimated damage was over 1,050 billion VND.

Faced with the complicated developments of natural disasters, all levels and sectors proactively deployed measures to prevent, combat, respond, and overcome the disaster, mobilizing military, police, and militia forces with a total of over 5,600 comrades; mobilizing 31 boats, 45 cars, 6,000 life jackets, 5,500 life buoys... along with forces at the grassroots level to respond to and overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Thereby, over 16,000 people were evacuated; about 5 tons of food and necessities were supplied to communes to ensure part of the people's needs...


Currently, all levels, sectors and forces continue to deploy measures to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods and inundation; proactively deploy measures to ensure environmental sanitation and prevent epidemics; gradually overcome incidents and damage caused by natural disasters; continue to mobilize the joint efforts, consensus and solidarity of people and businesses to support people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties.
