To concretize the work of following Uncle Ho's teachings, cadres and Party members of the Party branch in Hamlet 8 have demonstrated a sense of responsibility and mobilized resources to build infrastructure. In particular, they coordinated with commune officials to solicit support from businesses to build a bridge across Canal M, totaling 350 million VND. Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, a resident of Hamlet 8, said: “Previously, the bridge was only a little over 2 meters wide, sinking and cracking. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of commune and hamlet officials in mobilizing social resources to build a new bridge 3.5 meters wide with railings and lighting, people can cross safely, and the transportation of agricultural products is more convenient than before.” In 2025, cadres and Party members of the hamlet's Party branch mobilized over 74 million VND and 112 days of labor to repair and maintain deteriorated sections of the road. Mr. Huynh Van Mang, also from Hamlet 8, said: “Thanks to the hamlet officials' mobilization, I arranged my family affairs and joined with other residents to repair the damaged sections of the road.” Currently, officials and Party members of the Party branch in Hamlet 8 are continuing the construction of a traffic bridge, worth 350 million VND; of which, philanthropists contributed 200 million VND, and the rest was contributed by the people in the hamlet...
In addition, the Party branch officials and members of the hamlet coordinated with local people to renovate inefficient gardens and plant high - value fruit trees; introduced union members, association members, and local people to borrow approximately 15 billion VND from the Social Policy Bank to develop production, business, and education. At the same time, they coordinated the organization of training courses to transfer scientific and technical knowledge; established the Loc Hung Cat Hoa Loc mango production cooperative to help people link production and consumption of agricultural products... Mr. Thai Tuan Loi - a resident of Hamlet 8, shared: “Thanks to being introduced to loans from the Social Policy Bank with preferential interest rates, my family invested in planting 240 Cat Hoa Loc mango trees and taking care of 70 La mango trees. In 2025, my family will have an income of about 120 million VND.”
In 2025, Party members and officials, in coordination with commune officials, mobilized resources to support the construction and repair of three houses for households facing housing difficulties; and raised 25 million VND to support Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts for near-poor and disadvantaged households. Currently, Hamlet 8 no longer has any poor households, but only four near-poor households.
Mr. Vo Van Tong, Party Branch Secretary and Head of Hamlet 8, affirmed: “The Party Branch will continue to promote the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's example, linking it with the responsibilities of cadres and Party members; maintaining unity to successfully accomplish all tasks. This includes focusing on mobilizing the people to upgrade and expand transportation routes, building bright, green, clean, and beautiful roads, and actively caring for disadvantaged households. We are determined to build a Party Branch that successfully fulfills its duties, and to make our homeland increasingly modernized.”
