Painter Nguyen Thanh Hai shared: "I started painting still life, landscapes, and daily life of people in the Northern Delta. I painted mostly young women in ao dai, daily activities, and images of bamboo trees."

The works displayed in Sac Xuan not only depict spring flowers or Vietnamese Tet landscapes, but also mark memories: childhood memories, family memories, reed flower season, lotus season...

In addition, portrait works such as Princess of the Nguyen Dynasty, Girl and Non Quai Thao, Old Girl... also affirm his creative mark.

"Lacquer attracts me with its light, depth and overlapping layers. Each time I polish it, the work reveals unexpected things," he confided.

The exhibition "Spring Colors" is not only an important milestone in the artistic journey of painter Nguyen Thanh Hai, but also a place to honor the traditional beauty of Vietnamese painting.
