According to the plan, from August 17 to 20, the Ministry of Education and Training will upload the admission results of all methods to the system, conduct 6 virtual filtering rounds to produce the final results. After 5:00 p.m. on August 20, universities will announce the benchmark scores. The deadline for universities to announce the benchmark scores is before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

This year, 850,000 candidates registered for university admission with a total of about 7.6 million wishes. On average, each candidate has about 9 wishes.

Speaking to reporters on the morning of August 19, Master Pham Thai Son, Director of the Admissions and Communications Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, said the school will announce the admission scores at 6:00 p.m. on August 20 and start school on August 22.

"Although the virtual filtering process has not ended, it is basically possible to predict the benchmark situation this year. Peak majors such as logistics, marketing, international business will have benchmark scores equal to or lower than 2024 by about 0.5 points; majors with benchmark scores of about 20 points such as electronics, automation, mechatronics, data science , information security... will likely increase by 1-2 points this year" - MSc. Son informed.

Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Head of Training Department - Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, said that the school is expected to announce the benchmark scores in the evening of August 20.

"After 3 virtual filterings, the data shows that it is very likely that the benchmark for considering high school graduation exam scores will decrease slightly, ranging from 22-25 points. Meanwhile, the benchmark for other methods may increase, for example, considering high school learning results ranges from 25-29 points, the capacity assessment test score of Ho Chi Minh City National University is around 750-900 points" - Dr. Nhan said.

Member schools of Ho Chi Minh City National University such as University of Technology, University of Economics and Law... will also announce the admission scores on the evening of August 20.

Ho Chi Minh City Banking University said it will announce the admission scores on the evening of August 20, and successful candidates will complete admission procedures on September 3 and 4. On September 5, the school will hold the opening ceremony of the new school year.
