On the afternoon of April 27, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Director of Dak Nong Hydrometeorological Station, said that the weather on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, 2025 (from April 30 to May 4) is relatively favorable.

During the 5-day holiday, the weather in Dak Nong is expected to be favorable.

During the holiday, the weather is generally sunny during the day, making it ideal for outdoor activities. However, in the evening and at night, there is a possibility of dangerous weather phenomena due to the transitional season.

Specifically, in the northern region of the province, including Cu Jut and Krong No districts, there will be locally hot days with little rain. During the last 2 days of the holiday, this area is likely to have scattered showers and thunderstorms (probability 70 - 90%), with the highest temperature ranging from 31 - 36 degrees Celsius.

The central area of the province, including Dak Mil and Dak Song districts, will have sunny days. From May 2, there will be showers and thunderstorms. Some places may have moderate to heavy rain (probability 70 - 90%); common temperatures range from 31 - 33 degrees Celsius.

The highest temperature in the northern part of the province is from 31 -36 degrees Celsius.

The southern region of the province includes Dak Glong, Tuy Duc, Dak R'lap and Gia Nghia city. Sunny days, from May 2nd there is an increased possibility of showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (probability 70-90%) in the evening, highest temperature 32 - 34 degrees Celsius.

Dak Nong Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of heatstroke, increased risk of explosions and fires. In addition, thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning, strong winds, and hail can cause damage to agriculture and infrastructure.

People need to closely monitor weather developments to proactively respond and avoid unfortunate damage.
