With the developments gradually reaching the climax, the film makes the audience expect a strong reaction from the virtuous wife. However, Giai Giai cannot bear to let go of the marriage she once cherished. In the end, the tolerance of that wife brought about an ending that could not be more bitter!

Betrayal does not mean divorce

Opening the new week, the film made viewers feel extremely sorry for Giai Giai when she witnessed the evidence of her husband's betrayal in Tuyet Cam's house and the bottle of saffron that she used to poison her. It was thought that Giai Giai would end this rotten marriage, but Giai Giai blamed herself and admitted that it was her own fault that made Tuan Sinh seek Tuyet Cam.

Not accepting the woman's weakness and humility to the point of losing out when forgetting that adultery is inherently only related to a man's morality, A Phuong and A Kieu tried to advise her, but Giai Giai still did not want to expose her husband.

Not knowing that his affair had been discovered, Tuan Sinh was still attentive to his wife. This ignited a faint hope in Giai Giai's heart. She chose to hide her pain and go on a vacation with Tuan Sinh in the mountains, as a way to create an opportunity for her husband and herself!

The bitter end of tolerance

Realizing that Tuan Sinh's feelings were gradually leaning towards Giai Giai, Tuyet Cam could not hide her jealousy and secretly followed the two.

Together at this moment, Giai Giai was heartbroken because since their wedding, the two had never gone on a honeymoon or had any meaningful trip together. Tuan Sinh tenderly held his wife's hand, promising to make up for everything, making Giai Giai moved, silently promising to forgive all her husband's mistakes. But then, an incident happened, causing the tolerance of that gentle wife to only have a bitter ending.

The slippery hill in the rain made Tuan Sinh slip and fall. In order to save her husband, Giai Giai fell down the mountain. In her unconscious state, she saw Tuyet Cam come and pull Tuan Sinh away quickly, leaving her hanging between life and death. The fragile hope of husband and wife love suddenly vanished, causing Giai Giai to painfully let go of the hands that were trying to hold on to life...
