Viet-Italian Honey Joint Stock Company in Cong Hoa ward (Chi Linh) is one of the first businesses to seek ways to exploit products from natural honeybees.

Royal jelly honey is the fourth product of Viet-Italian Honey Joint Stock Company to receive OCOP 3-star certification.

In 2008, Viet-Italian Honey Joint Stock Company was established in Cong Hoa Ward (Chi Linh). It was one of the first businesses to explore exploiting products from natural honeybees. With continuous efforts, in 2020, the company had three products certified with 3-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) awards: royal jelly, special beeswax combs, and Chi Linh specialty honey. Following the success of these OCOP products, in 2022, the company further certified its royal jelly honey with a 3-star OCOP award.

Viet-Italian Honey Joint Stock Company currently has 2,000 bee colonies and also collaborates with many large honey farms in other localities. The company continuously moves its bee farms according to the flowering seasons to vast mountainous forest areas in Chi Linh such as the Thanh Mai Pagoda area, Con Son - Kiet Bac. Honey bee colonies are also placed in many eco-tourism areas nationwide such as Yen Tu, Ha Long, Van Don, the foot of Ba Na Hills, Da Lat…

The company's bee colonies are located in the vast mountainous forest areas of Chi Linh, such as the Thanh Mai Pagoda area and Con Son - Kiet Bac.

Honeybee colonies are located in many places throughout the country, resulting in a diverse range of honey. High-quality honey combined with royal jelly creates a delicious, nutritious, and healthy royal jelly honey product. Besides boosting immunity, regulating blood pressure, and stimulating appetite, royal jelly honey also helps reduce stress and supports beauty treatments.

To ensure honey quality, in addition to traditional beekeeping methods, the company also combines them with advanced beekeeping technologies from countries such as Russia, Germany, Australia, and the United States. The company increases investment in improving bee breeds, applies disease prevention and treatment procedures, rationally harvests products, builds processing facilities locally, introduces new technical advancements into production, and enhances the technical and management skills of beekeepers.

Currently, many of the company's OCOP 3-star certified honey products have been exported to South Korea and Japan and have been well-received by consumers there. It is expected that in 2023, the company will build a factory and expand its scale, combining production with the exploitation of the local tourism potential.
