[NOTICE OF CHANGE IN DAYTIME ADMISSION FEE]

Dear customers!

In accordance with Resolution No. 16/2023/NQ-HĐND dated December 6, 2023, on amending regulations on entrance fees for scenic spots, historical relics, and cultural works in Hanoi City, the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board announces a change in entrance fee rates, effective from January 1, 2024.

Specifically, as follows:

Entrance fee: 50,000 VND/person/visit

a) Fee payers: Domestic and foreign organizations and individuals visiting the Hoa Lo Prison historical site.

b) Subjects exempt from fees:

- Persons with severe disabilities as defined in Clause 1, Article 11 of Government Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012, detailing and guiding the implementation of some articles of the Law on Persons with Disabilities.

- Children: Individuals under 16 years of age.

In cases where it is difficult to determine if a person is under 16 years old, any document proving this is sufficient, such as a birth certificate or student ID card.

In cases where there is no documentation to prove the person is under 16 years old, the height requirement of under 1.3m will apply.

c) Subjects eligible for a 50% fee reduction:

- Severely disabled persons as defined in Clause 2, Article 11 of Government Decree No. 28/2012/ND-CP dated April 10, 2012, detailing and guiding the implementation of some articles of the Law on Persons with Disabilities.

- As defined in Article 2 of the Law on the Elderly, an elderly person is a Vietnamese citizen aged 60 years or older who possesses an elderly person card (or citizen identification card/other supporting documents).

- Students aged 16 and above who possess a student ID card issued by schools within the national education system in Vietnam.

- Individuals eligible for preferential policies on cultural enjoyment (in cases where identification is difficult, a confirmation letter from the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or town where the person resides is sufficient), specifically:

• People in particularly disadvantaged mountainous and remote areas.

• People who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution.

• Individuals eligible for social welfare policies: People with disabilities, lonely elderly people; those receiving care at social welfare facilities;

• Students from ethnic minority boarding schools.

For individuals who simultaneously fall under two or more fee reduction categories, only a 50% fee reduction will be applied.
